Thankful Thursday

I think my Thankful Thursday comes every other week now....I was working last Thursday, at both places, plus I was at mocha's house with no computer...anyways!

I am Thankful for:

• Each and every day I get to continue living, even though it can be a tough ride
• My Animals, especially my horses
• My Family
• My Friends
• My re-established love for Hockey and all the people I've met so far
• That I got picked to go on an all expense paid trip to Topeka, Kansas in May
• That I have a very loving and forgiving GOD
• After this week, I will have 3 day weekends all thru December!!!

...so I guess its official! we are siblings...lol
So glenn, the chief that he is, makes this weird rice with water and bbq sauce in the microwave...which at first I thought was the most disgusting thing someone could come up with let alone eat, but after I tried it, I realized: 1) it isn't so bad and B) there isn't much my brother creates that I don't like, so we must be related (or have similar taste buds) lol

Wow, my life has become filled with hockey...and I am loving every second of it. Even though some of the people (mostly players) at the rink can be jerks and arrogant, its a great environment to be in. =D

So, now this might/might not come as a shock, but I do believe the door has shut when it comes to Jeff and I. The last straw was the other day when he just to happened to mention he was getting a bunch of tests and physicals done. I ask him what for...and he texts back (doesn't even call!!) and I quote "I am sorry babe, I thought I told you. I am getting ready to go over seas for work." and that was the door slamming shut in my face. I've "waited" around for this guy who I was jerking me around constantly telling me I was gonna be in his future. So this was the last straw. On top of it all, he is/was leaving either today or tomorrow, for a YEAR! So I was infuriated and said, "ok well you have basically said to me...im gonna do what I have to do for myself." and I didn't/haven't gotten any text/calls since. I don't feel I was over reacting at all bc I literally have been waiting around for 6 years.

Now that I have upset myself writing about it, I am going to go to bed just to wake up and go to work tomorrow!

it seems...

...that even though it is Saturday night, my weekend should already be over. That probably has to deal with the fact I had Friday off. Which was actually super nice. I can't wait til I can have my Fridays constantly off...starting in April...

So I think I am too tired to write, plus since my computer has been on now for about an hour, I have been catching up on Internet communications/activities. Thats the best way I can describe it.

sooo tired

happy st pattys day...even tho its almost over.... I had un with some co-workers at the fox and hound bar and pub. yummy food, lots of people to watch and tried a new drink(well 2)...all my av thins to do.
im at mochas house, exhuasted! yay I've missed the little booger, he was so happy to see me. jumping around, rubbing all over, talking...too cute!

I haven't been sleeping so well lately, probably stress related. although I don't really have much to be stressed about. im very blessed day in and day out. its just that life is busy!

but im gonna go to bed, plus my fingers are a bit tired from typing this all on my phone bc my computer still isn't functioning properly...night

my computer is on the fritz again...

....so I missed thankful thursday....

action packed weekend!

So I am soooo sun burnt! I my cheeks and nose! of course! but I had a ton of fun this weekend!

Friday after work I went to the rink to help with the cute kids first program. We helped about 80 kids get fitted in hockey gear. then the next day they got to skate with it all on! so after the kids first gig, I went to say hi to Laurie in the box and chitchatted a bit before heading home. To which I fell straight asleep until the next morning, Saturday, when I went out to ride ET to get ready for the Gymkhana. Good boy that he was! And I rode Breeze, who in fact was living up to being a mare but acting like a pistol and running all over the place like a crazy horse. But I got her under control and trotted a bit before I had to go home to shower and go to the rink for 2 games. Fun stuff! Then I came here to the place I am house sitting to be not so welcomed by two dogs that were afraid of me. They have gotten a tiny bit better, but don't love me much.

Then I went to see Kutless!! I love these guys, well all of the bands were, we saw some small band first (I don't remember their name) then,

DiscipleSteller Kart and Kutless!

AMAZING! I pushed thru like a teenager and was literally 3 feet from the stage! =D After the wonderful concert, I came home to sleep for 6 hours before the Gymkhana, this morning.

All went well, ET was a good boy minus a small laps in his tiny appaloosa brain when he pulled back after another horse bumped into him and he tried to run away after he was able to pull back enough to get the halter off, but we got him captured and all was good for the rest of the day. Although I am sooo super tired and suuuuun burnt! And that is what had concluded my weekend, well I did stop into the rink to get my check, but am just sitting here about ready to go to bed. So on that note...G'night!
